New Members

The New Members Class is a required eight week orientation class to help assimilate new members into the life of the church.  It is called New Beginnings because it is not just for members who are new to our church but also for new believers.  In this class they are taught the basic foundations of the Christian faith such as salvation, holiness, and the ordinances of Baptism, Communion, and Foot Washing.  They are taught about the Church of God Movement and what we “believe and proclaim”.  Information is given about our church structure, mission, vision, and history.  Members are also taught about spiritual gifts and discovering their areas of service.  Upon completion, members continue to the next level of the education ministry.
